Black Backing Paint

Price: $5.00

Black Backing Paint is to be applied to surface prior to application of sprayable liquid crystal.

Sprayable aqueous coating with good adhesion to most surfaces.

Matte or gloss finishes are achievable by varying the coating thickness.  Easily removed by washing with water.

RECOMMENDED USAGE INSTRUCTIONS FOR Black Backing Paint

1.         Spray through airbrush from approximately 6-8" (15-20cm) above substrate surface.

2.         Air brush pressure = 20 psi (approximately).

3.         Drying times at 20-25oC (68-77°F) are approximately 30-40 minutes.  Gently blowing warm air onto the coating can accelerate this.  Avoid letting air cooler than room temperature blow onto freshly sprayed areas.

4.         The depth of coating applied will alter the surface texture of the dried coating.  Thin coats will be matte and slightly rough.  Thicker coats will flow together to a greater extent than thin ones, giving smoother gloss finishes.

5.         The dry coating can be removed by washing with hot, soapy water

Notes:

  • Black may separate to some extent on standing, and should be mixed thoroughly before use.
  • Store at ambient temperatures, 20-30°C (68-86°F).
  • Can be thinned with water

Packaged: 25 grams per bottle
